Hours: Full Time – M-F, 3:30 pm-12:00 am or until the work is done, Saturdays for business need
Rate: $18.76 – $20.75, plus $.75 shift differential
Objective: Provides essential contributions to monitor and advance the company’s safety and quality programs.

- Pre-operational inspections and documentation
- GMP monitoring
- Fat testing
- N60 Plus sampling
- Thermometer calibrations
- Temperature checks
- Environmental testing
- Sanitation checks/mid-shift inspection
- Carcass swabs
- Observational record keeping
- Production Quality reports
- Other sample preparations and SARFs
Other Skills/Abilities/Specifications:
- Ability to read and follow basic instruction with an eye for detail and desire for accuracy
- Candidate must be reliable, timely, and honest with a drive to always “do the right thing”
- Strong attention to detail
- The desire and ability to follow general food safety practices (GMPs, HACCP, and SQF system). HACCP Certification (must be done prior to be able to fill in logs)
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Education and Experience:
- No formal education or experience is required
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance is preferred
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish or Karen) is preferred

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to 40-degree temperature, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
