Starting pay rate: $17.07/hour
Objective
The work is fast-paced and entails the opportunity to process, package, label and palletize various raw meat products.

- Must be able to work both independently and as a team
- Mechanical aptitude for running a state of the art Multivac packaging machine
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have a good attitude towards continuous improvements of food safety systems
- The desire and ability to follow general food safety practices (GMPs, HACCP, and SQF system)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Language Skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) is preferred
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and understand instructions. Possess good eye-hand coordination and dexterity. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching all day. The use hands and arms constantly. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, 40-degree temperature, and wet floor. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
